Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before booking or using services provided by Mint Services LLC, doing business as Mint Cleaning Services ("Mint Cleaning Services," "we," "our," or "us").

By scheduling, purchasing, or using our cleaning services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking Information

Customers agree to provide accurate contact, billing, and property information when scheduling services. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays, additional charges, or cancellation of service.

2. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

By providing a credit card or other payment method, you authorize Mint Cleaning Services to charge for:

  • Scheduled cleaning services
  • Approved add-on services
  • Late cancellation fees
  • Lockout fees
  • Outstanding balances
  • Additional services requested during or after the appointment

Recurring customers authorize automatic payment processing on the day services are performed unless alternative arrangements have been approved.

3. Communication Consent

By providing your phone number and email address, you consent to receive communications related to your service, including:

  • Appointment confirmations
  • Schedule reminders
  • Service updates
  • Follow-up messages
  • Billing notifications
  • Customer support communications

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

4. Estimates and Pricing

Quotes are based on information provided by the customer and the estimated condition of the property.

Final pricing may be adjusted if:

  • The property's condition differs significantly from the description provided
  • Additional rooms or areas are added
  • Extra services are requested
  • Excessive buildup, pet hair, or special cleaning conditions are present

Any pricing adjustments will be discussed with the customer whenever possible.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

We request at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service amount.

If our team arrives and cannot access the property, a lockout fee may be charged.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

Customer satisfaction is important to us.

If you are dissatisfied with any portion of the cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will review the concern and, if appropriate, return to address the affected areas at no additional charge.

Refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

7. Property Access

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and timely access to the property during the scheduled appointment window.

Failure to provide access may result in cancellation fees or lockout charges.

8. Safety Requirements

For the safety of our team:

  • Aggressive pets must be secured during service
  • Hazardous conditions must be disclosed before the appointment
  • We do not move excessively heavy furniture or appliances
  • We reserve the right to decline tasks that may create safety risks

9. Damage and Liability

Mint Cleaning Services is licensed and insured.

While we exercise reasonable care in performing services, we are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improperly installed fixtures or furnishings
  • Items not disclosed as fragile or valuable
  • Damage resulting from defective materials or surfaces

Any concerns regarding potential service-related damage must be reported within 48 hours of the appointment.

10. Photos and Documentation

Our team may take photographs before, during, or after service for quality control, training, documentation, or dispute resolution purposes.

We will not publicly share identifiable images of your home without permission.

11. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse, discontinue, or terminate service if a property is determined to be unsafe, unsanitary beyond normal cleaning conditions, or presents a risk to our staff.

12. Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. Mint Cleaning Services is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party providers.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Washington.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.

Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
